When I tried it I received an error message that the "version of Macromedia Flash you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install".
Then opened IE which asked me to install Flashplayer because it could not render the page properly. I proceeded to install the Flashplayer, which took 2 attempts and I check with the Flashplayer checker which can be located with Google to be sure it was installed. Do not forget to reboot after the installation and before using the checker. I then went to IE and did the windows update. With the new Flashplayer, apparently the update is not necessary because it did not appear. Closed case!
