The year is post-dated. As Bill Smithers wrote, installing Vista would be a waste of time and money. Vista was never very popular and in just about one year you would be back in the exact same position you're in now. My advice would be to buy a new computer with either Windows 10 or if you look in places like the Dell Business Outlet Windows 7 preinstalled. Can i update to 8 from my laptop? This thread is locked.
